There are dead. There was a road accident in Khmelnitsky region
The accident happened today, 13 August, at 07:45 on the road near the village of Vyshnopol in Starokonstantinivske municipality. Vyshnopol of Starokonstantinivka community.
According to Khmelnitsky region police, 19 children and 4 adults were on the bus. As a result of the accident, one child and one adult accompanying the children died.
The driver of the bus "LAZ Liner" was transporting a group of children accompanied by two adults from the village of Lyubar in Zhytomyr region to the village of Mikulichin in Ivano-Frankivsk region. According to preliminary data, he failed to cope with the control, as a result the bus overturned. There were 23 people on the bus, including 19 children, two attendants and two drivers.
One 12-year-old girl and one adult were killed. The number of injured and the nature of the injuries are being ascertained. All the injured are hospitalised. An investigative and operational team is working at the scene.
