The Verkhovna Rada adopted a bill on freelancers

269 people's deputies voted for the document.

As stated in the explanatory note, the bill introduces a new special form of employment contract - an employment contract with non-fixed working hours. Such employment contracts are introduced as an alternative to civil law contracts.

Thus, the employee will be able to combine several jobs and will have basic social guarantees (provision of sick leave, vacations, sufficient wages, etc.).

Wages will be paid for hours actually worked or work actually performed.

The minimum working time during a calendar month is 32 hours.
