- The occupiers are going to put 16-year-old boys on the military register

In the territory of the temporarily occupied Luhansk Region, Russians will put 16-year-old boys on the military register within three months.
This was announced by the head of the Luhansk regional military administration, Artem Lysohir.
To put minors on the military register, the relevant commissions will work in the temporarily occupied part of Luhansk region from 10 January 2024.
The occupation administration has given them (the commissions - ed.) wide powers to manage until 31 March - when the presidential election will be over in Russia," Lysogor said.
According to him, the commissions will also look for men who previously avoided military enlistment centres. They will be taken into account until 31 December.
The commissions will be assisted by enterprises, institutions and organisations - they will provide personal data of men. And educational institutions will be engaged in the appearance of young men to military enlistment offices.
At the same time, not every settlement of the so-called "LNR" has the necessary number of doctors of narrow specialities," the head of the OVA said.
Therefore, men will be sent to neighbouring districts for medical examinations. Residents of Severodonetsk, Lisichansk, Rubizhne, Kremenna, Svatove and Troitske will be forced to register in other cities.
