The National Guard shot down an enemy Orlan on the Bakhmut direction


In the Bakhmut sector, National Guard soldiers shot down an enemy Orlan 10 UAV.
Soldiers of the 4th operational brigade of the National Guard "Rubezh" shot down an enemy UAV "Orlan 10" in the Bakhmut direction. This was reported by the commander of the National Guard Oleksandra Pivnenko.
"Since the beginning of the month the Guards destroyed 2 UAVs of the type "Orlan", one type "Zala" and another "Lancet", - stated in the message.
These UAVs are actively used by the enemy for aerial reconnaissance, detection of positions of Ukrainian troops, targeting artillery and barrage munitions.
There is also a daily fight against conventional UAVs and FPV drones.
"Orlan-10" is a Russian multifunctional unmanned system designed for surveillance. The UAV has a fairly long range and flight duration: up to 600 kilometres and up to 16 hours.
