The Ministry of Health told how many Ukrainians need psychological help because of the war

The Ministry of Health estimates that about 15 million Ukrainians need psychological help.
This was announced by the Minister of Health of Ukraine Viktor Lyashko in an interview with RBC-Ukraine.
According to preliminary analyzes that we did on the basis of countries where there were local conflicts, and we have a full-scale war, we estimate the potential number of people in need of psychological support at plus or minus 15 million people, Lyashko said.
The minister said that approximately 4 million Ukrainians would need sessions with a psychiatrist.
Of these (out of 15 million - ed.), if psychological support is not provided, approximately 3 million will continue to need the help of a psychiatrist or psychotherapist. Then, if again there is no help from a specialist, then many will need medical treatment, - Viktor Lyashko said.
