The General Staff of Ukraine reports a decrease in the activity of Russian aviation

The aggressor continues to inflict missile and air strikes on military and civilian infrastructure facilities on the territory of Ukraine and does not abandon attempts to establish control over the city of Severodonetsk. The intensity of the use of enemy aircraft has been reduced due to the successful actions of our air defense. Efforts are focused on supporting the actions of a ground group and launching missile strikes on infrastructure facilities deep in Ukraine, the message said.

In the Slavyansk direction, the enemy is concentrating his main efforts on preparing troops for an attack on the city of Slavyansk. He fired at the areas of the settlements of Bolshaya Kamyshevakha, Dolina, Kurulka, Grushuvakha, Krasnaya Polyana and Shnurki.

In the Severodonetsk direction, the enemy fired at units of Ukrainian troops and civilian infrastructure from cannon and rocket artillery in the areas of the settlements of Lisichansk, Borovskoye and Metelkino.

In the Bakhmut direction, Ukrainian soldiers successfully hold back assault operations in the area of the settlement of Kamyshevakh. Also unsuccessful were the enemy attempts to storm in the direction of the Svetlodarskaya and Uglegorskaya thermal power plants.
