The AFU showed the destruction of the Russian "Wasp" SAM system

The Ukrainian Defence Forces have destroyed a Russian surface-to-air missile system Osa in the southern direction with the help of HIMARS. This was reported by the AFU Special Operations Forces on 16 January.

While conducting reconnaissance in the Southern direction, the crew of the 73rd SDF Maritime Centre's BPAK, despite poor visibility, detected an anti-aircraft missile system "Osa", which the enemy was using against Ukrainian troops, - the report says.

SDF operators corrected the fire of HIMARS missile-artillery unit of the Ukrainian Defence Forces on the enemy target.

As a result of the fire defeat, the enemy's anti-aircraft missile system was completely destroyed.
