The AFU named the number of occupants killed over the past 24 hours
The enemy suffered significant losses on tanks - the Ukrainian defenders destroyed 14 more units.
Another 930 Russian occupants were killed on the frontline during the day on 15-16 December. As of 16 December, 344,820 Russian military personnel have been killed in Ukraine, the General Staff has said.
General statistics of Russian Federation losses since the beginning of the full-scale war:

- ships/boats - 22 (+0) units;
- submarines - 1 (+0) units;
- vehicles and tankers - 10710 (+11) units;
- special equipment - 1190 (+1).
According to the military, they managed to maintain their positions on the left bank of the Kherson region after the recent Russian ground activity in the area. In particular, according to preliminary information, they continued counter-offensive operations in the western part of Zaporizhzhya region.
