About a thousand guided bombs were located at this airfield, as well as Su-34, Su-35 and MiG-31 aircraft, which are carriers of KABs, are based at the Lipetsk airfield, the Ukrainian General Staff said in a statement .

The same night, a strike was launched against Russian air defence systems in Donetsk Region. It was confirmed to hit the radar of S-350 SAMs, regarding other targets the information is specified, but it is seen that three radars of the enemy's S-300 systems stopped working after the strikes.

Ukraine is known to be systematically knocking out Russian air defence systems to "clear" the skies, creating conditions for US F-16 fighter jets to help them do their job better.
