The AFU General Staff reported a "change of positions" on the Kharkiv direction

On the Kharkiv direction, AFU units are repelling an enemy attack on the Shebekino (RF) - Volchansk direction, the situation is under control. This was reported by the AFU General Staff on 14 May.

Due to the intensive fire impact of the enemy, namely air strikes with the use of 10 KABs, on our units, in order to save the lives of Ukrainian servicemen was carried out a change of positions in the area of Lukyantsy, - reported in the General Staff.

Measures to comb through the urban area in Volchansk continue. The situation is controlled. The losses of the enemy in this direction for the current day amounted to 4 people and 5 units of weapons and military equipment.

During the current day the enemy conducted 31 attacks on the positions of the AFU in Kharkiv, Kupyansk, Limansk, Seversk, Kramatorsk, Toretsk, Pokrovsk, Kurakhovsk and Vremov directions, 20 of them are still ongoing.

The Ukrainian Defence Forces continue to carry out tasks to prevent the enemy from advancing deep into Ukraine, disrupting the tasks to establish full control over Donetsk and part of Kharkiv regions.

Earlier, the head of the Volchansk city military administration, Tamaz Gambarashvili, said that fortifications around the city of Volchansk in Kharkiv Region on the border with the Russian Federation "were in place, but due to constant shelling it was not easy to erect them".
