Reports that the Russian army has closed the encirclement around the village of Makarovka, south of Velyka Novoselka, do not correspond to reality. This information was denied by the Khortytsya Joint Strategic Command of the Russian Army.

Earlier, the Deep State project claimed that the Ukrainian Defence Forces garrison in Makarovka was under the threat of encirclement. However, the analysts' latest data turned out to be erroneous. The project's map showed the alleged encirclement, although the Ukrainian military continues to hold positions in the area.

The Khortytsa USCV stressed that the information about encirclement in Makarovka was the result of analysis of unverified data and did not reflect the real situation on the front. The report notes that such false conclusions mislead the audience and can threaten the lives of the military.

Active fighting continues in the Donetsk region. Russian troops have destroyed a number of Ukrainian Armed Forces fortifications, making it difficult to hold the territories. The Deep State project also reported the occupation of the settlement of Annivka and the advance of Russian forces in the areas of Dalne, Uspenovka, Peschanoye and others.

The Ukrainian military urges to use only verified sources to obtain information about the course of hostilities.
