Suspect in brutal murder of Ukrainian detained in Hungary
A Ukrainian citizen in Budapest became a victim of murder. The man was probably stabbed to death by an acquaintance during a quarrel.
This was reported in the Budapest Police Headquarters on 1 May.
According to preliminary information, in the afternoon of 1 May, an 84-year-old Ukrainian and a 44-year-old man of Kazakh nationality had a quarrel, which turned into a fight. As a result, the Kazakh stabbed the Ukrainian.
The victim was so seriously injured that he died on the spot. The Department of life protection BRFC opened a criminal case on suspicion of manslaughter, - reported in the police.
It is noted that the suspect was detained at the scene and is being prosecuted.
Hungarian publication Index reports that both men were lorry drivers. The event took place in the car park of an international transport company in Soroksár when they were on a break.
The ambulance arrived at the scene quickly, but doctors were unable to save the Ukrainian.
