Suja residents communicate with AFU soldiers in the Ukrainian language


In Sudzha, Kursk region, an elderly woman speaks in clear Ukrainian when addressing Ukrainian military personnel.
She complains about the lack of water and food, to which the soldiers immediately handed her the food and water they had with them. Andrei Tsaplienko reports in the telegram channel.
The Washington Post also spoke to civilians in Suja who expressed their deep concern about the situation. People asked for assistance in travelling to Russian-controlled territory and also expressed a desire for a peace agreement to be reached.
One of the local residents, addressing the journalists, said:
We are begging you for some kind of agreement so that we can leave here, please." Another woman, speaking to the Ukrainian military, added: Let Putin negotiate with your Zelensky. We really want some kind of agreement.
