Strike on TCC in Poltava: in the Army named the target of the Russians


Russia has begun targeting territorial recruitment and social support centres (TSCs and SPs) to disrupt the mobilisation process in Ukraine.
This was stated by the head of the communications department of the AFU Ground Forces Command, Vitaliy Sarantsev, on the air of"Suspilnyy".
There were two hits: one - on the territory of Poltava city TCC and SP, the second - on the territory of Poltava regional TCC and SP. Both objects are located in a dense urban area, so there are civilians among the victims. Both buildings were damaged. Two servicemen and two female employees of the AFU were injured. Information about the dead military personnel is being clarified," Sarantsev said.
According to him, such strikes are a new tactic of the Russian Federation, which aims to destabilise mobilisation processes.
It was a targeted attack. In recent days, the enemy has been practising such strikes, trying to disrupt mobilisation. But the process cannot be stopped. Ukraine will continue to complete the army and expand its defence potential, - he stressed.
What happened in Poltava on 3 July
In the morning of 3 July, an air attack took place in Poltava. One of the strikes hit the building of the city's TCC and SP, where a fire broke out. According to the General Staff, the second hit caused a fire in a private residential building near the regional recruitment centre.
According to the Poltava OVA, the attack killed two people and injured 11 others. The casualties include both military and civilians. AFU representatives warned of the risk of repeated strikes.
