US calls on allies to impose sanctions on China if it supplies arms to Russia

According to reporters, the United States is already in talks with close allies in case Beijing provides military support to Russia for a full-scale war in Ukraine.
So far the talks are at an early stage, and their main aim is to gain the support of the G7 to coordinate support for any possible restrictions.
It is not yet clear exactly what sanctions the United States will propose, with Reuters sources saying Washington's moves have yet to lead to a broader agreement on any specific restrictive measures against Beijing.
It is worth recalling that the United States has previously claimed to have information that China may supply Russia with drones and munitions for use in the war in Ukraine.
