Experts have compiled a rating of financial promises to Ukraine


Dozens of countries allocate millions and sometimes billions of euros to Ukraine.
The top five countries that promised to provide substantial financial assistance were the US, UK, Germany, Poland and Canada. This is evidenced by data from the Kiel Institute for the period from February 24 to June 7.
in particular, the United States promised Ukraine 42.67 billion euros. More than half of this amount will go to military aid (about 24 billion euros), the rest will be distributed between financial and humanitarian aid: 9.9 billion and 8.8 billion euros, respectively. In general, this is 0.21% of the GDP of the most powerful economy in the world.
UK pledging 4.84 billion euros. Half of this amount will go or has already gone to military aid.
Third place for the promised amount was taken by Germany - 3.29 billion euros.
Poland , has promised to allocate 2.75 billion euros: almost two-thirds of this amount is pursued precisely by military assistance.
Canada has promised Ukraine 2.19 billion euros, but mostly financial assistance to support the Ukrainian economy.
The top ten also includes France, Japan, Norway, Italy and Sweden.
Note that the European Union has decided to allocate nine billion euros of aid to Ukraine, given that the state continues to resist the Russian invasion.
