How many Ukrainians are ready to fight for the country - poll


The number of those who are ready to defend their homeland has grown compared to previous years.
About 71% of Ukrainians are ready to fight for their country. This is stated in the survey data of the Razumkov Center, published on their website.
According to a nationwide survey, in 2011 there were 40% of them, and in 2020 - 57%.
Besides:
▪️More than 95% of Ukrainians trust the Armed Forces;
▪️More than 80% believe the President;
▪️87% of citizens do not want the restoration of the USSR;
▪️78% of Ukrainians trust humanitarian and charitable organizations;
▪️51% believe that events in our country are developing in the right direction;
▪️40.5% are confident that Ukraine will overcome all difficulties in the coming years.
Also, according to the survey, 70% of Ukrainians prefer the European model of social development, and only 0.5% - the Russian one. The proportion of supporters of the European model is significantly higher in the western and central regions (82.5% and 76.5%, respectively), while in the eastern - 53%, and in the southern - 45%.
The survey was conducted by the sociological service of the Razumkov Center with the support of the Representative Office of the Konrad Adenauer Foundation in Ukraine from September 22 to October 1, 2022. The survey was conducted in 112 settlements. 2021 respondents over the age of 18 were surveyed. The sampling error (excluding the design effect) does not exceed 2.3%.
