Satellite images of the crash site of the Russian A-50 plane shot down by the AFU over the Sea of Azov on 23 February have been published. The photo was published by Radio Liberty on 27 February.
Images taken from space of the farm Trudovaya Armenia in the Krasnodar region, where the Russian A-50 long-range radar reconnaissance plane went down on February 24, show traces of a fire that covered an area of about 4,500 square metres," the report said.
The occupants' aircraft was shot down as a result of a joint operation of the Main Directorate of Intelligence and the Ukrainian Air Force.
It is noted that this is already the second A-50 that fell in the area of the Sea of Azov since the beginning of 2024. According to GUR chief Kirill Budanov, there are only six such aircraft left in the Russian Federation.
