AFU servicemen who were probably executed by the Russians in the Kursk region fought for life to the last.

Near the village of Zelenyi Put in Kursk Region, the Russians have executed nine Ukrainian servicemen who had agreed to surrender as prisoners of war. This was reported by DeepState analysts citing sources in the 1st Independent Tank Brigade.

According to the analysts, the Ukrainian military were shot by the Russians back on 10 October. The dead were allegedly on their way to the positions, believing that they were in the rear. However, they ran into the enemy and engaged them in combat.

As DeepState pointed out, the military was forced to surrender due to limited ammunition.

We discussed this situation with other officers and commanders at various sites. UAV crews should take more seriously the possibility of the enemy breaking through to their positions and not neglect safety," DeepState wrote.

The situation was commented on by the mayor of Genichesk, a volunteer of the 24OSHB "Aidar", Stanislav Bunyatov "Osman". According to him, the dead were drone pilots and they did not surrender as prisoners, but engaged in combat with the enemy.

The guys were in the rear, there was a breakthrough, the p*dars entered their forest area from both sides, none of the pilots voluntarily surrendered, the guys fucked to the last! If they could have withdrawn, they would have. Very worthy fighters died," said "Osman".

Amid reports of another possible execution of Ukrainian military officers, ombudsman Dmytro Lubinets sent letters to the UN and the International Committee of the Red Cross, noting that such actions violate the Geneva Convention.

These actions should not go unpunished and the enemy should bear full responsibility. Russia is a terrorist country that violates all the rules and customs of war. The international community should not turn a blind eye to such crimes! - emphasised Lubinets.
