At the moment, the fire has already been extinguished.
Head of the Ivano-Frankivsk Regional military administration Svetlana Onishchuk reported about the shelling:
The enemy is attacking critical infrastructure again. Our region was again subjected to rocket attacks. We have a hit on the Burshtyn TPP. As a result, a fire broke out. There are no victims. All services are running.
Onischuk also asked citizens to remain calm and stay in shelters during alarms.
Explosions are also reported by local Telegram channels. Publish a video with a smoky sky.
Recall that on October 10, during a massive shelling of Ukrainian territory, the aggressors hit the open switchgear of the Burshtyn thermal power plant.
For reference: Burshtynska TPP is located near the city of Burshtyn in the Ivano-Frankivsk region at the intersection of power lines connecting Ukraine with Hungary, Romania, and Slovakia. It is one of the largest thermal power plants in the region and has 12 power units with a capacity of 200 MW each.
