Russians hit Kherson region, two children wounded

The Russian Federation military shelled the Kherson region again today.

Russian occupation troops shelled the village of Tyaginka in Kherson Region on Saturday, 6 January, the Kherson regional military administration reported in Telegram.

A 56-year-old man fell under enemy fire. He was hospitalised in a state of medium severity. The victim has mine-explosive trauma, closed fracture of the arm with displacement, multiple abrasions, - stated in the message.

In turn, in the Kherson regional Prosecutor's office reported that as a result of shelling Dar'eva community two nine-year-old brothers received shrapnel wounds. The children were hospitalised.

Note, the troops of the Russian Federation for the past day released on the Kherson region 671 shells from mortars, artillery, "Grads", tanks, UAVs and aviation. The occupants hit residential neighbourhoods of settlements in the region and damaged a company in Kherson district.

We would like to add that in the Kherson direction the Defence Forces continue further activities to expand the bridgehead. Despite significant losses, the enemy does not abandon attempts to dislodge our units from the occupied positions. In particular, over the past 24 hours the enemy made 13 unsuccessful assaults.
