Among the victims in Kiev are seven children.
On the night of 26 October, Russia struck Kiev with attack drones. Damage to multi-storey buildings was recorded in the city. This was reported in the Kiev city military administration.
As reported in the Kiev city military administration, at about 2:30 in the morning in the sky above the city worked air defence. However, the debris of downed drones fell on residential houses in Desnyansky and Obolonsky districts. The upper floors of one of the houses caught fire, the blast wave blew out windows and doors.
According to the State Service for Emergency Situations, three people were killed and 29 others were injured, including seven children. Rescuers evacuated 13 people from the burning nine-storey building.
Rescue services continue to remove the rubble and eliminate the consequences of the attack. The authorities urge residents not to ignore air alerts and to stay in shelters during the shelling.
This is the second night in a row that Russia has attacked Kiev: the night before, the city suffered a ballistic strike that killed two people.
From the evening of 24 October and the night of 25 October, the Russians attacked Ukraine with drones and ballistic missiles - the defenders managed to counter 50 of 62 UAVs and four of nine Iskander-M missiles. The occupiers also attacked Dnipropetrovsk region, there are dead and injured. On the same day, the Russians attacked Kharkiv with FPV drones carried by a Molniya-type drone - five people went to the medics.
