Russians advance in Toretsk - part of the city is already under the control of the Russian Armed Forces

Russian detained troops continue active offensives towards the town of Toretsk in Donetsk Region.
This was reported by the spokeswoman for the Luhansk task force, Anastasiya Bobovnikova. According to her, the occupants already control part of the city, but the Ukrainian Armed Forces (AFU) fighters continue to resist, fighting hard in every neighbourhood.
The Russians are using the tactics of small assault groups of 5-7 men, with compliance cover of mortar fire, artillery and drones. Bobovnikova noted that the enemy has a lot of manpower and did not count with losses, continuing the attack. At the same time, the use of electronic devices by the troops is limited, as it is more valuable to them.
The situation in Toretsk remains difficult. The eastern and south-eastern districts of the city are already under the control of the occupants, but the AFU continues to keep control of part of the city, which prevents the enemy from achieving its goals to fully capture Donetsk and Luhansk regions.
Ruslan Muzychuk, a representative of the National Guard of Ukraine, added that Russian troops are trying to encircle the AFU in Toretsk and are advancing towards the settlements of New York and Nelipivka, expanding the "grey zone" around the city and seeking to take control of important logistical routes.
The fighting continues and Ukrainian forces continue to hold their defence despite the slowdown in the enemy's assaults.
