Five people were killed and at least 40 others were injured as a result of the morning massive shelling of Ukraine on 23 January. This was reported by Interior Minister Ihor Klymenko.

In Kiev, the missile strike in the capital resulted in several fires in Svyatoshinsky, Solomensky and Pechersky districts. One person died, there are injured civilians. Two multi-storey buildings, a private building, cars were damaged.
In the Kiev region rescuers are working in Buchanskiy district. Damaged two multi-storey buildings, a private house, outbuildings and cars. Three people were injured.
In the Dnepropetrovsk region as a result of the attack on Pavlograd one person was killed, one injured.
In Kharkiv, the Russians hit two multi-storey houses. According to preliminary data, three people were killed, about 30 more were injured.
Rescuers are examining the damaged buildings, dismantling the rubble. Psychologists are working on the ground. Police investigators are carefully recording these crimes.
