Russian TG-channels Reported the Death of a Conscript Company in a Strike on Makiivka
On the night of 1 January, a missile strike was launched against Makiivka in the annexed part of Donetsk Region, which destroyed PTU No 19, where Russian servicemen were stationed, the Ukrainian Armed Forces Strategic Communications Department said in its telegram channel.
According to the directorate, about 400 people were killed in the strike and another 300 were wounded. Vladimir Zolkin reports that up to 600 people could have been killed in Makeyevka
"Rosvoencors" lament the heavy casualties among the mobilised during this strike.
In the building of the PTU the command "compactly populated the mobilized from Saratov region," writes the occupants' telegram channel "Romanov Lite." According to it, preliminary we are talking about dozens of deaths. "And there was also a detonation of ammunition. Hence such destruction," specified "Romanov Lite."
Reports of the missile strike on the PTU building were also confirmed by the "Deputy Minister of Information of the DNR," Daniil Bezsonov. In his Telegram channel, he called for those who decided to place soldiers in one building, rather than disperse them between different facilities, to be held accountable
According to preliminary reports, "overstayers" from other barracks also came there to celebrate the New Year.
