Russian propaganda confessed to the use of chemical weapons in Ukraine
A Russian propagandist in a report from the front blatantly says that Russian troops are dropping gas grenades on Ukrainian positions.
Propagandist of the Russian edition of RT Andrei Filatov has shown a video of Russian troops using chemical weapons. The video was published by the media.
Although the Kremlin denies the use of chemical weapons in Ukraine, a Russian propagandist has shown a report showing Russian troops using chemical grenades.
The report by Russian state agency RT shows how Russian troops "smoked out" a Ukrainian machine gunner from a position near Avdeevka with chemical weapons.
It shows a gas mask hanging from the machine gunner. Zincs from under cartridges. Here is a gas grenade that we dropped," Filatov said in the report.
He showed an allegedly Russian RG-VO gas grenade. According to the AFU, the RG-VO contains the poisonous gas chloracetophenone.
This gas is on the list of the Chemical Weapons Convention. The symptoms of chloroacetophenone poisoning are profuse vomiting and lacrimation, as well as skin irritation.
According to the propagandist, the Ukrainian position was taken on 1 December 2023. The RT report notes that "previously it was impossible to publish this footage for security reasons".
Earlier Socialportal reported that in the Novodanilovka area of Zaporizhzhya region, the Russian military shelled with chloropicrin munitions twice during the day.
