Russian FPV drone kills two medical volunteers in Kharkiv region


A drone strike in the village of Bely Kolodets killed two volunteer medics, a man and a woman, who were in a battalion vehicle.
This was announced by the head of the Kharkiv Region police investigation department, Serhiy Bolvinov.
According to the updated information, among the dead was 35-year-old Oleksandra Mulkevych, call sign "Mike", who served as a paramedic in the Hospitallers battalion. MP and battalion commander Yana Zinkevich expressed deep condolences to the family and friends of the deceased. According to her, Mulkevich, along with two colleagues, was working out her last day of rotation and was to return home to her family the next day.
The blast from the FPV drone also hit a civilian vehicle that was travelling in the same direction. The impact injured three people who were in the car. Their condition is now being clarified.
This is not the first time that the Hospitallers battalion has suffered losses on the frontline, and this attack was a heavy blow to all those who have dedicated themselves to saving lives in the war zone. Yana Zinkevich noted that the death of Oleksandra Mulkevich is a great loss not only for the battalion, but for the whole Ukraine.
Information about the farewell and funeral of Oleksandra Mulkevich will be announced later.
