Russia is preparing sabotage and acts of violence across Europe - FT

The Kremlin intends to inflict maximum damage on Europe.
Russia is preparing acts of violence and sabotage across the continent. The Financial Times writes about this with reference to the intelligence assessments of three different European countries.
In particular, Russian agents have already started preparations for explosions, arson and damage to the infrastructure of European countries. It is reported that the preparation involves Russians who are on the territory of Europe, as well as intermediaries they hire.
As the publication points out, the terrorist attacks are planned to be large, and the number of possible victims is not taken into account by the organisers.
While Kremlin agents have a long history of such operations and have occasionally carried out attacks in Europe in recent years, there is growing evidence of a more aggressive and concerted effort," the publication said.
One intelligence official said that Russian President Vladimir Putin is now feeling "on top of things" and will do anything to put more pressure on Europe - through disinformation, sabotage or hacking attacks.
Through NATO's security services, there is also information about a co-ordinated and large-scale threat of malicious action by Russia. As the intelligence underlines, provocations, terrorist attacks on the territory of Europe may not always be carried out by the Russians themselves, but by their henchmen supporting the Kremlin regime.
