Russia claimed to have struck an AFU command post, which is actually on a different section of the frontline

The Russian Defence Ministry has published a video of the explosion, claiming that the airstrike destroyed a command post and a weapons depot of the 47th separate mechanised brigade of the AFU in Sumy Region.
However, these statements are nothing more than another Russian fabrication. Since the 47th Brigade operates in a completely different area.
According to the Russian Defence Ministry, on 20 August, the crew of a Su-34 fighter-bomber struck a command post near Glukhov, Sumy region, allegedly destroying the command staff and ammunition of the 47th UMBR. The video presented by the Russian side shows footage of the explosion, but it does not contain information that would allow confirming the location of the strike.
Press officer of the 47th UMBR Anastasiya Blishchik noted that Russian propaganda has repeatedly spread false statements about "victories" over this Ukrainian unit. She stressed that the brigade is currently engaged in active battles in the Pokrovskyy direction, not in Sumy Region, as Russian sources claim.
According to Blishchyk, such statements by Russia only demonstrate its desire to attribute to itself victories over the elite Ukrainian unit, which, on the contrary, is successfully fighting against Russian troops on other parts of the front.
