Russians hit Kherson region at night, there are wounded

Russian occupants shelled Kherson on the night of 8 October, 11 people were wounded, including a child. This is reported by the Kherson OVA.

Kherson region experienced another terrible night. Dozens of wounded, in particular - a child. The enemy repeatedly hit the city and settlements of the right bank. Residential neighbourhoods were under fire of the occupants. Houses, cars, gas distribution networks were damaged. Some shells did not burst, - said the head of the OVA Alexander Prokudin.

He specified that 11 citizens were injured.

A 27-year-old woman and her 9-month-old daughter were hospitalised in a state of medium severity. Among the injured is a 33-year-old Red Cross medic. He suffered blast trauma and contusion. The man was hospitalised. Several Kherson residents had an acute stress reaction. They had to be taken to hospital. These are two spouses - a husband aged 67 and a wife aged 63, and a husband aged 56 and a wife aged 54. As well as two women aged 87 and 62. Medics treated the men, aged 24 and 34, on the spot," he wrote.

Also that night, the Stanislavska community was under Russian fire from Grad MLRS. According to the Kherson regional prosecutor's office, enemy shells hit a private house in one of the villages, injuring a family of four adults.

Law enforcers have opened criminal proceedings on the fact of violation of laws and customs of war.

We would like to add that the President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky in his video message noted that in recent days the Russians have become particularly brutal in hitting the Kherson region.

Enemy troops shell the de-occupied part of Kherson Region and the regional centre every day.
