Russia is trying to replenish the loss of manpower by promising exorbitant salaries and the possibility of looting to contract soldiers.
This is reported by Ukrainian intelligence.
After catastrophic losses in Ukraine, in order to restore the combat effectiveness of military units, the Russian command is trying by all means to attract Russians to military service under the contract.
If in the temporarily occupied regions of Ukraine there is a forced mobilization of men and sending them to inevitable death, then in the central regions of the occupying country they are invited to serve under a contract, promising high salaries, social benefits and the possibility of robbery and looting with impunity.
According to the military intelligence of Ukraine, only in the Central Military District of Russia for the period January-April 2022, 2861 contracts for military service were concluded.
It should be noted that the majority of Russians, despite the likelihood of death in Ukraine, are encouraged to military service by their parents and relatives.
