Russia is unable to attack on several fronts at once - ISW
The Russian invaders will not be able to advance on several fronts at once.
This is reported in a report by the American Institute for War Research (ISW).
Thus, ISW experts confirm the data of the Ukrainian General Staff.
On the previous day, Oleksiy Gromov, deputy head of the Main Operational Directorate of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, said that Russia had moved part of its forces from the Avdiyivka area to the Bakhmutsk direction to strengthen its offensive. Because, according to Gromov, Russia has lost about 4,000 men from the Vagner PPK and regular troops in the battles for Bakhmut since March 30.
Gromov's statement confirms ISW's long-standing assessment that the Russian army in its current form is incapable of conducting large-scale simultaneous offensive campaigns on several fronts, analysts said.
However, the General Staff believes that the Russian Federation can still emerge as a serious threat to Ukraine in the long term.
