Russia is staging a "referendum" in Kherson - British intelligence

According to a British intelligence report released on Monday night, April 25, Russia is planning a staged referendum in Kherson in the south of the country to justify its occupation.

The city is key to Russia's goal of building a land bridge to Crimea and dominating southern Ukraine, the document says.

It is noted that earlier Russia held an illegitimate "referendum" on the annexation of Crimea to the Russian Federation in 2014 in order to retroactively justify the seizure of the peninsula.

In intelligence, they state that in the Russian Federation no elections are held honestly.
