A Russian tanker surrendered with his equipment: he will receive money and an opportunity to apply for citizenship

This is how it all happened, tells Andrusiv

Several weeks ago National Police identified phone numbers used by Russians. These are Ukrainian numbers. We regularly send messages to these numbers informing on how they can surrender and bring their vehicles and equipment with them.

Several days ago we received a phone call from “Misha.”

Information about him was passed on to Intelligence Headquarters. He was assigned a place he needed to come to. He came. With the help of a drone we made sure he was alone and it was not an ambush. After that our Special Forces captured him.

It turned out that he was left alone, all of his crew members ran away home. He saw no sense in continuing to fight. He could not go home because his commanding officer said he would shoot him and then say he was casualty. Misha told us there was almost no food left, control over the troops was irregular and almost non-existent. They were all hugely demoralized.

So what happened to Misha? We is now kept in a very comfortable place. He will receive 10 thousand dollars after the end of the war and a chance to apply for citizenship. Until the war is over he will continue living in this comfortable place with a TV, a phone, a kitchen and a shower.
