Rocket attack on Izyum: more than 50 injured, gruesome photos

This was reported by the head of the Kharkiv regional state administration, Oleh Sinegubov. According to preliminary data, the strike was carried out by an Iskander missile. The attack killed five people: 44-year-old and 69-year-old men, as well as two women and another man whose identity is being established. Three children are among the wounded.

Sinegubov specified that most of the injured were employees of the Tax Service, the Children's Service, the State Executive Service Department, the Medical College and other government institutions.

During the strike, the administrative building of the Izium city council was partially destroyed, another administrative building and windows in three apartment blocks were damaged.

The shelling occurred on 4 February. Four dead and 20 wounded were initially reported, but the number of casualties continued to rise. Later, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy published a video of the aftermath of the strike, calling on the international community to increase pressure on Russia and continue military support for Ukraine.
