Russian Federation damaged a unique XVI century fortress in Khmelnytsky region (video)

As a result of night air bombardment on 19 August, buildings in Mezhybozh fortress, a monument of national importance, were damaged. The blast wave from the terrorist weapons of Russian aggressors has reached here ... - the message reads.

The director of the reserve Oleg Pogorelets said that the blast wave damaged the windows and doors of the museum, as well as the roof of the knights' tower.

At the time of the shelling, a student forum was taking place on the territory of the reserve.

Mezhybozhskaya fortress is a monument of fortification architecture of the XVI century. It is included in the State Register of National Cultural Heritage of Ukraine.
