Russian Federation in Luhansk Oblast prepares prisoners for war

The Russians are training 500 people with criminal records in the temporarily occupied territory of Luhansk Region.
This was reported by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
It is noted that in this way the occupiers are trying to recover their manpower losses. For this purpose, the Russians are recruiting people with a criminal record or against whom criminal cases have been opened, in particular for terrorism.
According to the available information, about 500 such invaders are being trained in one of the field camps deployed by the enemy in the temporarily occupied territory of Starobelskiy district of Luhansk Region, the General Staff has said.
Additionally, it is known that the convicts are offered to sign a contract for military service with participation in combat operations in Ukraine for six months instead of imprisonment.
