Reverse eyeliner, glowing skin and side parting: Dior AW25 show trends

What do you get when you mix Victorian fashion, feminism and a bit of glitz?
That's right - the Dior autumn-winter 2025 show, held in the magical Tuileries gardens. Maria Grazia Chiuri was inspired by Virginia Woolf's novel "Orlando" and created a collection where old meets modern. And with it, beauty trends that you should take note of right now.
Make-up: minimum effort - maximum individuality
This time, make-up artist Peter Phillips, creative director of Dior, relied on naturalness. No highlighter or contouring! Only glowing but matte skin, shaped eyebrows and natural lips with a drop of Dior Addict Lip Glow Oil (and no glare!).
How to achieve this?
First, the skin was prepped with Dior Capture Le Sérum and Hyalushot for the eye area.
Then - a bit of Dior Forever Skin Perfect foundation and Dior Forever Skin Correct spot correction.
But the trick was the so-called "reverse eyeliner". Diorshow On Stage Crayon 099 Black was applied to the inner corners of the eyes, giving the look depth and mystery.
Hair: hello, 2000s!
Guido Palau was responsible for the hair. He brought back to the catwalk the trend of the early noughties - extreme side parting, low ponytail and slightly dishevelled strands. The result was both romantic and a little rebellious - just as the collection dictates.
Bottom line:
Natural make-up without the glittery excesses
"Reverse eyeliner as an accent
Nostalgic parting and casual ponytail
The Dior AW25 show is not just fashion, it's a whole mood. And if you are looking for an idea for a look in the spirit of "less make-up, more yourself" - be inspired by Dior and switch on your individuality to the maximum!
