Recruiters told what military specialities are now needed in the AFU

Ukraine continues martial law and general mobilisation imposed due to a full-scale invasion by Russian Federation.
The war continues, which means that the AFU needs new people. However, Ukrainian defenders need some specialities more than others. Ivan Tymochko, the chairman of the council of reservists of the AFU Ground Forces, and Oleksiy Rudenko, the head of the military recruiting agency, told the ICTV Facts publication what specialists are most needed in the army.
They pointed out that the range of vacancies is wide - from infantry and artillerymen to REB scouts. Also in the list of required specialists there are many civilian professions. Among others are IT specialists.
They can work in their own field and be no less useful to the Motherland: develop various programmes, engage in cyber defence or directly be in combat brigades," the recruiters pointed out.
As noted by Tymochko and Rudenko, the Ministry of Defence began to actively cooperate with private recruiting companies to find the right specialists and at the moment about 2,500 people have already been employed in the AFU through recruiters.
The Ministry of Defence believes that by using private recruitment companies, it is possible to use the professional skills of mobilised personnel more effectively and to find specialists for a specific position in the army.
But, as the military stresses, recruiting through private recruitment agencies will be only an auxiliary tool of mobilisation.
It will be like one element of mobilisation. Recruiters will work mainly on recruiting soldiers and sergeants. Because those professions, vacancies, which they voice, it is not a position of the secret regime, - explained the Chairman of the Council of reservists of the Army of the AFU.
We will remind, in Ukraine there is martial law and general mobilisation, which were announced because of the full-scale invasion of Russia. Currently, men aged 18 to 60 years old receive summonses and can join the AFU.
