Putin intends to gather all the occupied territories into a single quasi-state entity.

Kirill Budanov, head of the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine, believes that Russian President Vladimir Putin may try to impose the so-called Korean scenario on Kiev. GUR writes about it.

After the failures near Kiev and the inability to overthrow the central government of Ukraine, Putin is already changing the main operational directions - these are the south and east. There is reason to believe that he is considering the Korean scenario for Ukraine.

That is, it will try to impose a distribution line between the non-occupied and occupied regions of our country. In fact, this is an attempt to create North and South Korea in Ukraine. After all, he is definitely not able to swallow the entire state, - said the head of the Main Intelligence Directorate, Brigadier General Kirill Budanov.

He also stressed that the issue of a land corridor to the occupied Crimea is still relevant for Russia, but the defense of Mariupol has pinned down significant enemy forces.

The occupiers will try to cobble together the occupied territories into a single quasi-state formation, which they will oppose to independent Ukraine. We already see an attempt to create "parallel" authorities in the occupied territories and force people to give up the hryvnia," Budanov said.

However, he added, Ukrainian resistance and counterattacks by the Armed Forces of Ukraine significantly complicate the implementation of such plans.

In addition, the season of the total Ukrainian partisan safari is about to begin. Then for the Russians there will be one actual scenario - how to survive, - said the head of intelligence.
