PrivatBank set the market exchange rate when paying with cards

For currency exchange in non-cash transactions, PrivatBank introduced a market rate.
This is stated in the message of the bank.
First of all, this concerns conversion rates on cards: cash withdrawals and transfers in hryvnia in Ukraine from currency cards, as well as all types of transactions abroad in foreign currency using hryvnia cards, the report says.
According to representatives of the bank, the decision was made based on the market situation, regulatory documents of the regulator, maintaining the integrity of the market and based on the interests of customers.
As of the morning of July 7, the rate is set at UAH 35-35.5 per dollar and UAH 36.9-37.2 per euro.
As you know, since May 21, the National Bank allowed the sale of cash currency with a deviation of more than 10% from the officially established by the regulator. PrivatBank then announced that it would maintain the exchange rate of hryvnia into foreign currency on its cards outside the country, which was in effect until the National Bank lifted restrictions on the upper limit of such an exchange rate.
