Lithuanian president turns to NATO over Prigozhin

Evgeny Prigozhin, the head of the Wagner PMC, will be in Belarus, according to agreements between Putin and Lukashenko.
Lithuanian President Gitanas Nauseda has called on NATO to strengthen Alns presence in eastern Europe. This appeal was made after it became known that the leader of the Russian PMC Wagner will be in Belarus, writes The Guardian.
If Prigozhin or part of the Wagner group turns up in Belarus with unclear plans and intentions, it will only mean that we need to further strengthen the security of our eastern borders," said Nauseda after the meeting of the Council of State Security, focused on an attempt of a group of mercenaries to revolt in Russia.
At the same time, Nauseda noted that the presence of NATO troops must be increased not only in the territory of Lithuania, but also in the neighbouring countries that are members of the NATO bloc.
The politician also said that Vilnius uses all its capabilities to conduct reconnaissance operations in the territory of neighboring Belarus.
Speaking about the revolt that took place in Russia, Nauseda said that it opened the eyes of many world politicians to Putin. It turned out that he is not as "scary" as Russian propaganda has been portraying him to be.
Nauseda suggested that Putin would face similar political challenges in the future.
The king is naked," said Nauseda.
