On Sunday, the Russian Federation carried out a massive shelling of the Kherson region, people were killed and part of the regional centre was de-energised.
As a result of Russian shelling in Kherson Region, a high-voltage power transmission line was damaged, which left part of Kherson and neighbouring settlements without power supply. This was reported by the head of the Kherson city military administration, Roman Mrochko.

Mrochko noted that power engineers are working on reconnecting the city to the reserve line to repair the main line.
In the city administration asks residents of the city after the resumption of power supply to reduce the use of electrical appliances until the end of repair of the main power lines.
We would like to add that on Sunday morning, 13 August, in Shirokaya Balka, the Russian army shelled a family - a husband, a wife and a girl who was only 23 days old. Medics are fighting for the life of their 12-year-old son, who is in hospital.
In Stanislav, two people, aged 71 and 57, were killed in the shelling. Another woman has light wounds.
Also suffered residents of Komishan. There, a 49-year-old man suffered moderate wounds and a 51-year-old woman suffered light wounds.
At least five residential houses were damaged in Zolotoy Balka. A 61-year-old woman sustained light wounds.
