Crimea may lose autonomous status after liberation - Podolyak
The president's office has said what will happen to Crimea after de-occupation.
The advisor to the head of the presidential office, Mykhaylo Podolyak, said this in an interview with UNIAN.
According to him, after Crimea's de-occupation, the peninsula is likely to lose its autonomous status. In Podolyak's opinion, the autonomous status is a breeding ground for separatist sentiments.
Obviously, when you receive autonomy, you subconsciously consider yourself in some way better than other regions. For a unitary state, autonomy is a dangerous path, it is a path to conflict at the regional level," Podolyak said.
He also said that the rights of ethnic minorities must be respected.
Podolyak believes that successful Ukrainianization requires the creation of a high-quality cultural product that is interesting even at the international level.
