Kyiv police detain children who robbed military cemeteries

The ages of the perpetrators are between 11 and 12 years old.
In Kyiv, a group of children aged 11 to 12 regularly robbed military cemeteries. The boys and girls took flags, flowers, bracelets, schwerons from the graves. About it reports the national police of Ukraine.
It is noted that a total of eight children were seen in episodes of theft and, as a rule, they were looking for something to steal in Berkovets cemetery.
As soon as the police received a report about the non-childish entertainment of children who were stealing from the graves of Heroes in one of the cemeteries, juvenile police officers went to the place, - law enforcers said.
Witnesses of what was happening told the police that they tried to reprimand the children, but they were rude in response, while drinking alcohol and smoking.
As a result, the juvenile offenders were detained. They were all born between 2010 and 2011. They were taken to the police together with their parents.

The police indicated that they managed to return some of the stolen goods to the Heroes' relatives. Social services intend to work with the children.
At the same time, the police stress that children's behaviour and their actions depend on their parents and ask them to pay more attention to their children.
Instead of conclusions and admonitions, we simply appeal to parents. Dear parents, bring up your children, give them time and take interest in how they spend their leisure time," the NPU said.
