Polish government forms new aid package to the AFU for 200 million euros

This will be the 47th support package.
Warsaw intends to provide Ukraine with another 200m-euro military aid package, the head of the Polish diplomatic mission in Kiev, Piotr Lukasiewicz, has said. The head of the Polish diplomatic mission in Kiev, Piotr Lukasiewicz, said this in an interview with the European Pravda newspaper.
As the diplomat specified, the transfer of weapons and equipment is scheduled for the next few months. He recalled that the previous, 46th batch of support included ammunition, elements of military infrastructure, components and other materials needed at the front. At that time, the amount of aid totalled about 230 million euros.
From 2022 to the end of 2024, Poland has already supplied Ukraine with a significant amount of military equipment: 318 tanks, 536 combat vehicles of various types, 136 artillery pieces of various calibres, 10 aircraft and the same number of attack helicopters. Among them are the famous Polish Krab SAU and tanks, which played an important role in the offensive operations of the AFU.
Lukasiewicz stressed that Warsaw also transferred a large amount of ammunition, fuel, spare parts and other materials. According to him, the total value of aid since the beginning of the full-scale invasion was about 4.5 billion euros.
This is a significant contribution for a country of our size and capabilities. Poland continues to provide assistance today, despite the fact that the main deliveries took place in the first months of the war," the ambassador said.
