Poland assured that it will continue to pay for Ukrainian Starlinks

Unplugging Ukraine could be a "powerful blow" to the Ukrainian army.
Warsaw has purchased new Starlink terminals for Kiev and will continue to pay a subscription fee for their use. This was announced in social network X on Saturday, 22 February, by Polish Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Digitalisation Krzysztof Gawkowski.
He said that he considers the participation of the Polish side in the contract as a guarantee that the terminals will continue to work further.
I can't imagine that someone can decide to break a business contract for the provision of a commercial service to which Poland is a party," said Gawkowski.
We would like to point out that the Starlink issue was raised at a meeting between US presidential special envoy Keith Kellogg and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy. The previous day, Reuters reported that the US side allegedly wanted to use the issue of satellite communications to put pressure on Kiev to sign an agreement on US access to Ukraine's natural resources.
Meanwhile, the Defence Forces say that Starlink has given Ukrainian defenders a strategic advantage over Russian Federation.
Meanwhile, Moscow has called on US entrepreneur Ilon Musk to deny the Ukrainian Armed Forces access to the Starlink global satellite communications system.
Starlink is an innovative satellite internet service developed by SpaceX, which aims to provide high-speed internet access anywhere on the planet, including remote and hard-to-reach regions. The system operates on the basis of a constellation of thousands of small satellites placed in low-Earth orbit, which minimises signal latency and increases data transmission speeds compared to traditional satellite-based Internet services.
