Pokrovskoye direction has become the hottest

President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said this in an interview with French journalists.

After the Russians failed to attack Kharkiv in early summer, they have changed their main goal and now their priority is to capture Pokrovsk in Donetsk Region.

The second place in terms of the intensity of the fighting is occupied by the Toretska direction, where the enemy launched 24 attacks with air support.

At the same time, the Kharkiv direction, which had recently been the key direction, saw a decrease in the number of clashes and only five clashes during the past day. In Kupyanskoye - the enemy attacked our positions seven times. In Limanskyi, the ZSU repelled six attacks of the invaders. In the Siversky direction 11 assaults were repelled. In the Kramatorsk direction there were six attempts of the enemy to break through the defence. In Kurakhovskoe direction the enemy tried to break through our defence seven times.

On the border with Chernihiv and Sumy regions, the enemy maintains a military presence, shells populated areas from Russian territory and conducts sabotage and reconnaissance activities.

Over the past 24 hours, the total losses of the Russian invaders amounted to 1,100 people. Our soldiers also destroyed three tanks, eight armoured combat vehicles, 42 artillery systems, two MLRSs, 37 operational-tactical UAVs, 56 vehicles and six units of special equipment.
