Podolyak tells when Ukraine may enter Crimea

Ukrinform

Crimea has a long and difficult road ahead of it as it cleanses itself of Russian culture.

Mikhail Podolyak, an adviser to the head of the presidential office, told this in an interview with Radio Svoboda.

In Podolyak's opinion, the time when Ukraine will be in Crimea can be counted in five to six months.

We will definitely be in the Crimea in a very short time, which historically is a very short six months, five or seven months. This may be too optimistic, but this is optimism, mathematically verified. I say again, Russia does not have enough resources to hold the situation. The logic of war is quite obvious, and we can definitely talk through the realities of Crimea on the seafront in Yalta. And we can definitely talk about an absolutely effective future for Crimea.

Podolyak noted that this will be a difficult period for Crimea. Because Ukraine will have to break all separatist movements and not allow Crimea to again raise the issue of some kind of special status in relation to the Russian Federation.

Podolyak called for admitting that democracy is not a right to form separatist movements and tolerate them.

Also, according to the advisor to the OP head, it will be necessary to completely shut down everything that concerns the Russian cultural space. But, of course, they will not ban the use of the Russian language in private life.
