Air defence forces shot down more than 20 Russian missiles in the airspace around Kiev on the night of 24 June.

The capital's mayor noted that three people are now known dead. Two of the victims have been hospitalized and nine others were treated on the spot.
At the same time 24 people have been rescued, including three people rescued from under the rubble and one more from the lift. All residents of the building have been evacuated.
Services continue to work and the perimeter of the building is sealed off.
According to preliminary data from the KGVA, air defence forces in the airspace around Kiev last night detected and destroyed more than 20 missiles. In the city, debris fell on a multi-storey building in the Solomenskyi district.



Also, 40 cars in the Kiev car park were damaged during the strike.



It is known that on the night of 24 June, Russia launched an airborne cruise missile strike against Ukraine from Tu-95ms, Tu-22m3, sea-based Kalibr bombers and Shahed-136/131 strike drones.
Strategic aviation aircraft, numbering 10, launched 40 Kh-101/Kh-555 cruise missiles from the Caspian Sea.
Eight Tu-22m3 long-range bombers carried out strikes with 9 Kh-22 missiles from the northern, southern and eastern directions.
The occupants launched two sea-launched Kalibr cruise missiles from the Black Sea.
From the south, the enemy attacked with two Iranian Shahed-136/131 strike drones.
